Daniel Eggli
Wood sculptor and metalworker. Studied at the ‘Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst’ in Zurich and obtained the ‘Lehrer für Kunst und Gestaltung FH’ diploma. Has worked at the Scuola di Scultura since 2003.
Born 1972 in Walzenhausen/AR 1988-1992: Studied carpentry specialising in restoring antique furniture. 1997-2001: Studied at the "Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst" in Zurich and obtained the "Lehrer für Kunst und Gestaltung FH" diploma. The high point of his course of study was the promotion prize HGKZ that he received for his wood sculpting work using the chainsaw. Since then he is freelance wood sculptor. 2001 - 2007 manager of the biggest adventure playground in Switzerland, in Uster/ZH.
